I was raised on a small farm in the central valley. Here is where I developed my love for animals and the outdoors. I’m a huge 49ers fan. I’m an enthusiast of many things, such as coffee, trucks, and of course, tacos.

I was born and raised in LA (shoutout Koreatown). Some of my hobbies include trying new food spots, playing/following sports, and skating. My favorite sports teams are the Steelers, LAFC, and Manchester United. I am the youngest of three and a first-generation college student. I listen to Muse, Kid Cudi, Katzu Oso, Radiohead, Elephant Gym, romantic spanish music (RIcardo Arjona, Chayanne Juanes, etc.). My favorite food is my mom's panes con pollo, can't ever go wrong with panes con pollo.

I come from Whittier, CA down in LA county. I hope to one day get into hardware design as a career after college or get into film production. I got into the tech field from watching lots of sci-fi movies and becoming really curious of what's possible with technology. I'm a film fanatic so ask me about my favorite movies.

I like music, listen to (Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, Motown, Classic Rock, old romantic Spanish stuff, etc) and play (Trumpet & Viola). I’m a fan of listening to people talk about video games but have only really played from the Legend of Zelda and Bioshock series. I’m a creative and think I’m alright at drawing and can craft really well.

Hi everyone! My name is Jorge and I am from Marin County/San Francisco. In my free time, I like to exercise and spend time outside. I love going on hikes, visiting museums, and going to the movies. My favorite song from this summer was Callaíta by Bad Bunny. The best book I read this summer was The Nickle Boys by Colson Whitehead. One of my favorite things about UCSC is the campus and the amount of nature that surrounds us. An ideal Sunday in Santa Cruz is cruising around town on a jump bike and reading by the beach. My favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz is Walnut Avenue Café. I am excited for my last year at UCSC and am honored to be a part of the Steering Committee this academic school year. I'm looking forward to our Familia Meetings and hope to see new faces in our space.

A little bit about myself, I'm a first generation student and fifth out of six siblings. I am from the Central Valley and attended community college at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, mountain biking, practicing guitar, and skateboarding. I'm a big fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and my sun sign is Libra.

What’s up guys! I am a person who loves to be in the outdoors, whether if it’s hiking, going to the beach, playing a sport anything at all I’m all game for it. Speaking of sports I do get competitive sometimes when I play especially when it comes to soccer and volleyball, which are my two favorite sports. I love listening to Reggaeton music which consists of J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Nicky Jam etc. Since I am a Film major I will save you the trouble of asking what my favorite movie is because its Back To the Future. Also like playing video games and hanging out with friends and down to do something I don’t normally do. I like to spend my time doing things that make me happy and make me grow as an individual. I spend of a lot of time hanging out with friends, working out at the gym, playing video games and playing sports. Im also a big hip hop fan and love comic books. Im from the city of Coachella and try to represent my home as best as possible. I hope one day I have the chance to help others in my community and communities similar to mine.
